An Open Letter to the Brotherhood

May 25, 2005

For the past twenty-six years, I have served as the executive director of Apologetics Press.  During some, or all, of that time, you have supported the work financially.  It goes without saying that it is such support that has made the work the success that it is.

On May 24, the Board terminated my position at A.P.  For some time now, I have been struggling with some personal sins in my life, and as a result it was obvious to them and to me that I no longer was the best choice to lead the work forward for the next quarter of a century.

I have in place the finest staff in the brotherhood.  They are brilliant.  They are dedicated.  And they are devout.  I want to urge you to join hands with them as they strive to make A.P. grow and flourish.  The work is affecting in a positive manner literally thousands and thousands of people every month.  There is no other work quite like it—I think you will agree.

Please continue your financial support for now, and well into the future.  It is not only ap- preciated, but also essential.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work side by side with you for the past twenty-six years.  It has been a singular joy—and one that I will never forget.

Most Sincerely, in Christ,
